Welcome to The Pulse!  Please take a minute to check out what's happening in the life of COTA.
 
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
  
+ Please pray for the Lord's anointing on Jay Traylor as the Lord sets him apart and ordains him to the priesthood this Saturday.

+ Pray for Bryon and Stacy Boulton and their family as they are currently working at a Christian hospital in Kenya.

+ Pray for those in our church who have recently lost parents or who have aging parents to care for, for the Lord to comfort and strengthen them. 

+ Pray that in the new year the Lord will deepen our knowledge and love of him as a church, and that he will lead people to new faith in Christ through us.

MEN'S MINISTRY
Men's Bible Studies ~ Winter/Spring 2018

Band of Brothers (Wednesdays 7-8am)
We spend time studying and discussing a book of the Bible, sharing our lives, laughter, and lessons from our faith journeys with God.

Sleepy Heads (Wednesdays 7:15-8:15am)
Sleepy Heads are ready to "Rock and Roll" with fellowship and Scripture study served up with humor, song and food.

Blackwater Group (Thursdays 7-8am)
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do walk through books of the Bible together.

Where: Upstairs Sunday school classrooms at Apostles. Teaching/study time begins at 6:45.

Muffins 'n More ~ Winter/Spring 2018
Muffins 'n More will resume on Monday, January 8, continuing the study of Romans.  Muffins 'n More meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month in Room 208 from 10 - 11:30am.

Women in the Word ~ Winter/Spring 2018
Beginning January 8, 2018 ~ What Love Is: The Letters of 1, 2, 3 John by Kelly Minter. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness.
