PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:

+ Please pray for Gikomero, our sister church in Rwanda, that the Lord would equip them to reach their community with the gospel of Christ.

+ Pray also for the students who are being mentored through Community Hope in our church. Pray that they are encouraged academically and also grow in love for Jesus because of their time with their mentors.

+ Pray for the faculty and staff of Carroll Middle School, that as we bring fresh produce for teacher appreciation week, that the teachers would truly feel appreciated and feel the love of Christ through our church.

THIS SUNDAY @ APOSTLES

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT APOSTLES

Please join on Wednesday nights for Compline services during the season of Lent.   These evening services begin at 8:45pm and will last about 20 minutes.

The Lord's Prayer at Noon
During Lent, you are invited to join us in saying The Lord's Prayer each day at 12:00pm.  Wherever we are, whatever we are doing, let's commit to take a moment and intentionally pray "together".

The Lord's Prayer {Matthew 6:9-13}

Fresh Produce for Carroll Teachers
March 27-31 is Teacher Appreciation Week at Carroll Magnet Middle School. The theme for Monday the 27th is  Farmer's Market
and teachers will be invited to come "shop" fresh produce for free. Church of the Apostles {and locally based, The Produce Box} will be providing fresh produce for this event. Please help show love for these teachers by bringing a bag of fresh produce with you to church on  Sunday, March 26 . There will be a drop-off in the lobby. Carroll loves Church of the Apostles and appreciates your generosity!  If you have questions, please contact Mary Jane Swecker: thesweckers@earthlink.net .

Chris Armstrong Lecture - Monday, April 17
Professor Chris Armstrong will join us to share a lecture,  In Praise of Ordinary Work , which promotes the richness of "ordinary work" and builds appreciation for those who toil in what we would call "ordinary labor." The talk also offers a message for all of us who find ourselves in humdrum periods of work, even the daily small tasks of exciting start-ups can feel ordinary. Dr. Armstrong directs Opus: The Art of Work at Wheaton College, where he also serves on the biblical and theological studies faculty.

Baptism Sunday ~ April 23*

Women of Apostles ~ You're Invited!

Ladies Meet and Treat
Have you ever wished you could meet more women at Apostles, but do not have the time to make a big commitment? Well, now is your chance! Make a new connection each month and get to know some of the amazing women at this church. Here is how it works: you are given the name of someone new to meet with each month. The two of you connect and come up with a time to meet. It could be a meal, coffee, a play date - whatever works for the two of you!  Contact:  Janet Whited {janetwhited@outlook.com}
