The goal of St. Louis REALTORS® Leadership Academy is to give members a chance to LEAP into the future - Lead, Engage, Act and Perform!

Objective of the Academy -
  • Develop future leaders for the association and local communities
  • Develop leadership skills applicable to all facets of candidates’ lives: professional, personal, association and community.
  • Increase awareness of real estate and association management issues as well as the purpose, structure and benefits of the national, state and local associations.
  • Expand candidates’ knowledge of community, government initiatives and programs and how these programs relate to the members’ businesses and families.
  • Improve people, team building and communication skills of candidates.
Candidate Criteria -
  • Must be a REALTOR® in good standing for the last three years (since May of 2015.)
  • A primary or secondary member of St. Louis REALTORS®.
  • Committed to the entire process by giving full participation to the tasks and curriculum.
Tuition -
  • $500 - Includes training sessions, meals and instructional materials.

Honor Society - Strive for it!
The purpose of the Missouri REALTORS® Honor Society is to recognize the professional achievement of members who seek excellence through education and who voluntarily contribute their time and skills to association leadership.
The Honor Society program is designed for all REALTORS®. The basic concept is to award active qualification points for professional education and for REALTOR® activity that results in better service to clients and customers. Members that meet qualification requirements receive a certificate and plaque. Hurry, application deadline is March 10!

Elisha Brown -
A Pioneer for Diversity
St. Louis Board of Aldermen issued a resolution honoring the late Elisha Brown, a long-time St. Louis REALTORS® member and a pioneer for diversity and civil rights in the St. Louis real estate community and beyond. Mr. Brown passed away November 28, 2017, but left an amazing legacy. Accepting the resolution was his daughter, Gail Brown, St. Louis REALTORS® Director and owner of Brown-Kortkamp Realty.
The resolution was co-sponsored and presented to Ms. Brown by Alderman Terry Kennedy and Alderman Frank Williamson. Representing the association at the ceremony were St. Louis REALTORS® President Marc Levinson, Assistant Director of Government Affairs Kate Whiting and Interim CEO Rick Capelli.
