Theme for 2015-2016~
THINK!  This is our theme again for 2015-2016.  THINK stands for Trustworthy, Honesty, Integrity, Non-violent, Kindness.  We will emphasize and recognize our students when they commit to this belief.  We want our students to make the most of each day by giving their best, seeking ways to help our school be a better place, always striving to improve, and entering the building each day with a great attitude.  Please encourage your children to THINK each day before they arrive at school.

Character Trait
Our character trait for November and December is COMPASSION: being kind to others. During classroom guidance lessons, we frequently talk about the importance of thinking of others. If we were the only one in our world, we could just think about what we want and be a "just me" person! However, since we-staff, students, and parents-are part of a larger school community, it doesn't work to be "just us" people. Compassion means we are putting ourselves in others' shoes and trying to understand what they are feeling, then doing something kind to help. During the month, make a point of recognizing when your child shows compassion!

Thank you to everyone who was able to donate for the Holiday Coin Drive.  Your generosity and COMPASSION is really appreciated.
