Dear ,

Here's the September issue of
The Ripple e-Newsletter to share with your colleagues, friends and family. This month's lovely Ripple banner photo can be credited to Robert Pasut.

Picture yourself here on Toronto's Waterfront. Just a short walk south from Union Station.

Note: Due to road construction, if you are driving to the Waterfront please drive east of your destination before proceeding south to Queens Quay West which temporarily runs one-way west only. It's better by the water.

SPICE UP YOUR WARDROBE WITH AMBER THIS FALL

With the fall season upon us, fashion trends naturally turn towards an autumn palette. The gemstone most fitting for this season is amber. Ranging in hues from creamy white and clear honey, to a rich cognac yellow and even sometimes green. The warm and inviting colours of amber have been a magnificent choice of adornment for thousands of years.

Amber can be found in the Baltic region and the Dominican Republic. Amber from the Baltic State is older and is one of the most valuable. Baltic Amber is not only aged fossilized tree resign but it actually dates back 25-40 million years. Today, just like decades ago, amber is still one of the most cherished and fashionable ornamental stones in the world!

Accessorize your fall wardrobe by combining one of a kind amber pieces with solid coloured dresses and blouses at Vivah Jewellery Company. White, beige, and warm colours like yellow, orange, and red are very complimentary to your amber jewellery but don't be shy to experiment with other hues as well.

See our one of a kind amber pieces today and select the perfect earthy masterpiece for your fall wardrobe!

Have you relaxed in our new Waterfront Muskoka chairs yet?

On your latest visit to Toronto's Waterfront, you will most likely have noticed a splash of red throughout the neighbourhood. To kick off the summer season, The Waterfront BIA, in partnership with Waterfront Toronto, installed 40 red Muskoka chairs to help beautify our community.

These comfortable and welcoming chairs were generously donated by Waterfront Toronto and were placed in pairs along the forthcoming Queens Quay promenade as well as local public parks. Our goal is to encourage visitors and residents alike to relax and enjoy the Waterfront while the revitalization project comes to a close June 2015.
