Alumni Spotlight

Okey Anyanwu, M. Div. '09  arrived from Nigeria to Emmaus Hall with not so much as a winter coat. Now, as Founder and President of BIZAA, he seeks an end to child labor and trafficking in his hometown by hosting mission trips and building schools. 

The Impact of the School of Theology and Seminary

Bishop Donald Kettler, M.Div. '70,  Bishop of the Diocese of St. Cloud, is one of many who gives annually to the SOT/Sem. As a member of the Board of Regents and alum, he believes in the spirit of Saint John's SOT/Sem. 

When In Rome

Fr. Michael Patella, O.S.B. met with over 250 other seminary rectors from around the world to be updated on Pope Francis's new program for priestly formation. And, he met Pope Francis himself!

We Are Called

"To Bless Our Callings: Prayers, Poems, and Hymns to Celebrate Vocation" is the latest publication by Laura Kelly Fanucci, M.Div., '09. Fanucci directs an ecumenical project on vocation in congregations at the Collegeville Institute. Her new book is an ecumenical collection that supports the callings of everyone within the Christian community and contains over 200 prayers, blessings, sacred songs and poems.
