THE SAIA EDUCATION FOUNDATION AND SAIA
PROUDLY PRESENT MICHAEL LEADBETTER AS KEYNOTE
SPEAKER FOR 2018 CONVENTION
Keynote Speaker Wants to Disrupt Your World
Michael Leadbetter, a world-renowned speaker on disruption, exponential technologies, exponential organizations, and innovation, is the featured keynote speaker for the SAIA 2018 Annual Convention & Exposition.

His session, titled Industrial Revolution Disruption and What It Means for You , is being made possible by a generous sponsorship from the SAIA Education Foundation. It will begin promptly at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, in the Red Lacquer Ballroom – and don't forget the Welcome to Chicago Breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m.!

Could We Be Headed for Another Industrial Revolution?
According to Leadbetter, whether we are aware of it or not, we are already in the fourth Industrial Revolution; and digital, physical, and biological boundaries are being blurred.

Like all industries, construction is a target for disruption. That disruption will be fueled by exponentially developing technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), new business models, and new market entrants. In today's world, disruption is just as likely to come from outside your industry as within.

His session will define and answer these questions: What are the exponential technologies? What is linear vs. exponential thinking? What are exponential organizations and how do they perform ten times better, faster, cheaper than yours? And, what does all of this mean for your business?

If You're Not Disrupting Yourself, Someone Else Is
Leadbetter is CEO for ExO Works , a specialized global business advisory group that leads organizations into the world of exponential thinking. Using disruption, innovation, and transformation, they help businesses industry-wide how to understand and respond to the emergence of the Exponential Organization (ExO).

Part of the transformation involves adapting an exponential mindset and winning methods that are found in some of the world's fastest growing companies. ExO Works offers two core training programs, ExO Sprint (a 10-week immersive program) and ExO Inspire (a two-day leadership development program), both of which can be customized to your company's individual needs.

Where In the World Is Michael Leadbetter?
Michael's speaking engagements have taken him to far-away places like Bangalore (India), South American gems Rio de Janeiro and Cartagena, the tropics of St. Tropez, and major European cities such as Geneva, London, and Copenhagen.

While he started his career in Hong Kong, he has been based all over the world, including New York, Southeast Asia, North and South America, Europe, and the Middle East. His work has panned a range of industries: financial services, healthcare, education, and real estate.

Prior to landing at ExO Works, Michael spent more than 20 years in corporate development roles with leading education and media companies, including Euromoney Institutional Investor, Kaplan Inc., and Pearson Inc. In 2014, he founded Greenshoot EdTech, an advisory practice. His most recent consulting work was for CEOs of The Princeton Review and Singularity University.

This event is being sponsored by the SAIA Education Foundation and SAIA.
