Stewardship Campaign
Last Tuesday night, 12 volunteers gathered in the Church kitchen to prepare casseroles for the Gateway 180 homeless shelter and FOCUS St. Louis. Within an hour, 12 hearty casseroles were ready for the oven. Parishioners putting their faith in action. #HungerMinistryInAction

: Church Service League is collecting shopping bags with handles (preferably paper) for Miriam Switching Post; stuffed animals (new or gently-used) that will be cleaned and donated to police and firemen to give to children; and items for the Covering House shelter: Kleenex, liquid dishwashing detergent, cloth napkins, Post-it notes, hairbrushes, and rat-tail combs. Please put donated items in the CSL closet across from the drinking fountain.

The Rt. Rev. James Jones, KBE, was formerly the Bishop of Liverpool and is currently the Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of York. He was a member of the House of Lords speaking on criminal and restorative justice issues, the environment, and urban regeneration. He has a particular interest in environmental issues. He founded Faiths4Change which brings together people of all faiths working on environmental projects. In 2017, the Queen appointed him a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire ‘For services to the bereaved and to justice’. His books include:
