Morton's Neuroma:
Morts Neuroma
If you feel a burning or sharp pain in your foot between your third and fourth toes that worsens when you walk, you may just have a Morton's Neuroma, a swollen or thickened nerve in the ball of your foot.  The exact causes of Morton's Neuroma are difficult to pinpoint, but it can often stem from tight shoes, flat feet, high-arched feet, or abnormal positioning of the toes.  The good news? Morton's Neuroma can usually be treated at home by wearing proper fitting footwear (ideally something with a roomy toebox), using metatarsal pads in shoes, adding a supportive insert, and taking an anti-inflammatory.

Sheep Love!

If you are not in love with wool as a technical fabric, let us woo you! This extremely effective wicking fiber keeps you dry in the winter OR summer and serves as an insulating layer. Further, wool diminishes body odor unlike synthetic fibers (so you can run in that wool shirt several days in a row and no one has to know you didn't wash it!). Lastly, forget that itchy wool clothing you may have experienced years ago! Companies like Darn Tough Vermont and The North Face have soft, comfortable wool pieces to keep you comfortable and dry during all of your activities, no matter the season.

New Kicks On the Block...
Every fall, the fans of the Asics GT 2000 series hold their breath as they await the latest changes to their favorite shoe. Well, there is nothing to fear in 2012, Asics mild support lovers, because the all-new GT 2000 is better Wom GT 2000than you could imagine! The posting is restructured to have pillars throughout, which results in a smoother transition from heel to toe. There is also more gel in the heel and an additional soft midlayer called Soft Top Duomax, which increases comfort and gait efficiency. Weight on both the men's and women's GT 2000 stayed the same as the GT 2170.
Nike Structure 16: Nike has seen success with their Dynamic Support Men Structure system in the LunarGlide and has now taken the concept to the all-new Structure 16. The Dynamic Support, which is an adaptive support system,  is a bit more aggressive in the Structure than the LunarGlide, but awesome just the same. Because of this change, the Structure 16 is 15% lighter than the 15, making it ideal for any runner who needs support but doesn't want to sacrifice performance.
Wom 860 New Balance 860 V3: We thought the 860 couldn't get any better after V2, but it looks like we've been proven wrong! Called a 'game changer' for New Balance, the all-new 860 has a more secure mid-foot wrap, an upgraded crash pad and more ground contact, for improved stability.

You're Going to Want to Run in the Pouring Rain....
Men Stormy Trail Think all waterproof jackets have to be hot, clammy and barely breathable? Well, The North Face says be uncomfortable no longer in waterproof! Their new waterproof and windproof Stormy Trail Jacket features Flash Dry technology, which has a microporous particle additive that accelerates the removal of moisture from the skin and kicks evaporative drying into high gear (basically, you stay dry, even as you sweat and endure pouring rain). Further, it will never wear or wash out!! While Flash Dry is in many Wom Stormy Trail other North Face products, it's appearance in the Stormy Trail jacket is most significant because it means there is FINALLY a waterproof option that is light, uber breathable and not bulky in the slightest. Thank you North Face. We'll never forget this.
