For over a decade, America SCORES Seattle has been providing programs that empower at-risk youth in Seattle's high-needs elementary schools to realize their unique potential through writing, soccer and community service.

By supporting SCORES, YOU make it possible for children to experience transformational after-school activities in a safe and enriching environment free of charge

and to become part of a culture of academic success and achievement.

SCORES must raise 100% of the money needed to provide our program and to eliminate all barriers to participation. We need your help to do this!

Our Impact

Academic Achievement: Students who participate in America SCORES demonstrate significant improvement in creative and expository writing and reading comprehension.

Health: Students who participate in America SCORES show increased aerobic capacity and recognition of healthy choices.

Positive Youth Development: America SCORES poet-athletes show a substantial increase in compassionate behavior, responsibility, leadership and community awareness.
