Recap: Green Carpet at The Palm

 

Over 140 people joined us last Tuesday for our September Green Carpet at The Palm. Congratulations to Peijean Tsai, Joe Hixson, Samantha Dickens, Meg Li, Bryan Chen, and Jason Arellano, who won Palm local diner cards, and Henry Poon who won a bottle of wine to enjoy on his next visit!

South Park Spotlights

The South Park Farmers Market is now open on Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM in Margo Alley. Stop by for fresh produce and prepared foods, and click here for more information.

Testa is now serving Italian inspired food on the corner of 11th and Hope. Open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday, the menu includes a selection of homemade pastas, a pork tomahawk sized to share, and molasses panna cotta for dessert.

AB 551 allows property owners to take a tax deduction on vacant lots that are put to agricultural uses. Check out this blog post for a description of the law, and apply by October 31, 2017 to take advantage of the tax deduction.
