Cooperative Alliance for Refuge Enhancement, Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus Members Highlight Need for Recreational Use of Refuges
On October 11, the Keep America's Refuges Operational Act was introduced in the House (H.R. 3979) by Hakeem Jeffries (NY) along with Gregario Sablan (MP) and Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus (CSC) Members Congressmen Rob Wittman (VA), Garret Graves (LA), Frank LoBiondo (NJ), and Mike Thompson (CA). Georgia: National Hunting and Fishing Day Proclamation and Ceremony 
On October 11, Governors Sportsmen's Caucus (GSC) member Governor Nathan Deal of Georgia hosted a ceremony to recognize National Hunting and Fishing Day by signing a proclamation. Held at the Governor's office in the state capitol, the proclamation and ceremony celebrated the important economic, social, and cultural role hunting and angling play in the Peach State.   Read More > >

Maryland: CSF Mission Partner Supports Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry
On October 13, the Walmart Foundation's State Giving Program presented a $50,000 grant to Maryland's Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH), the state's game meat donation program. Through FHFH, hunters and farmers in Maryland are given the opportunity to donate deer and livestock to help aide in America's hunger problem.

CSF Welcomes Marketing & Communications Assistant
The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) is pleased to welcome Taylor Bissonette as the new Marketing and Communications Assistant. Prior to joining CSF, Taylor was the Marketing and Public Relations intern for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever, a CSF partner. A triple major in college, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, and Communication and Media from DePaul University. Taylor grew up in the Minnesota Northwoods hunting white-tailed deer, fishing and exploring the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.  Read More > >
