A Miracle for Mia- "Mia Bella Buffo-Zingarelli is truly a miracle.  Born with a very rare, severe mitochondrial disorder, Mia was given just a month to live, This amazing 6-year-old has already surpassed all expectations. With her parents - East Hampton native Noah and Francesca, originally from Northport - she has thrived, developing limited sight, hearing, some hand dexterity and is able to participate in the special needs kindergarten program at Boston College.

She is the oldest living patient to survive with the disease, according to Francesca. They can use assistance for daily living.

Hampton Photo, Arts and Framing Scholarship Fund- We have started a scholarship fund to help support local youth who have chosen to study in the field of visual arts. We hope to allow the next generation of artists opportunities to explore their passions.

Huntington's Disease Research - In the United States alone, about 30,000 people have HD; estimates of its prevalence are about 1 in every 10,000 persons. At least 150,000 others have a 50% risk of developing the disease and thousands more of their relatives live with the possibly that they, too, might develop HD.
