The Texas Mentoring Partnership is pleased to bring you our statewide newsletter. This newsletter serves as a way to highlight Texas mentoring programs as well as mentoring news and research from across the country that you may be interested in. Please send us your stories and photos and share this information with other mentoring advocates. Let us know what ideas you have for future topics.

As we get ready to head back to school, let us also renew our commitment to mentoring in our community. As Ghandi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world".

Listing your program in the Mentoring Connector helps you recruit more youth mentors and greatly increases visibility for your organization. National ACE Mentor Program is available In
Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston
The ACE Mentor Program of America, Inc. (ACE) helps mentor high school  students and ins pires them to pursue careers in design and construction.
It’s now the construction industry's fastest-growing high school mentoring program, reaching over 8,000 students annually.
RISE Mentor Program Begins Fall Training in Pearland ISD
The Reach, Inspire, Support, Empower (RISE) mentoring program is kicking of the school year with mentoring training. This training is designed for new Pearland ISD mentors. Attend this 2-hour session and learn the basics of mentoring -- do's and don'ts, effective communication, and insights about the needs of our students.
