Last week, the KC Tech Council traveled to Washington, D.C. with six representatives from member companies including Black & Veatch, Cerner and DataBank to connect with tech leaders throughout the nation, meet with Kansas and Missouri Congressional members, and advocate for advancing apprenticeships in the US through the CHANCE in Tech Act.

The KC team met with eight lawmakers and legislative staff, including Sen. Jerry Moran and Sen. Claire McCaskill to discuss this initiative and improving the tech industry. For a full recap and pictures from this advocacy trip to the Capitol, visit our site.
