In the Community: Ace Academy

Ace Academy - possibly the best tennis facility in the area that you have never heard of.  While known nationally and internationally because of the talent they produce, their name is just now starting to pick up traction in their local community of Naperville, Illinois.  Cesar Morales, Ace Academy's owner and director, has spent the majority of his life with a tennis racquet in his hands.  Cesar starting playing when he was just five years old making it all the way to the professional level.  Now he is sharing his passion for the game through coaching, which he has been doing for the last sixteen years.  Formally opening Ace Academy (Ace) in 2006, Ace has now grown into a facility with seven courts - two 78', two 60', and three 36' - which aid is teaching the proper mechanics to players of any age and size.  With numerous accomplishments and accolades to his name, Cesar is now passing along his knowledge to players of any age and ability at Ace.

Training for a triathlon is a great endeavor to undertake, regardless of the distance. It requires determination, perseverance and a "can't stop" attitude. But how can you pursue this endeavor without losing the fanfare of your biggest supporters? How can you train enough to prepare for the event and not feel guilty or selfish for pursuing a dream? While the average triathlete is often categorized as a Type A, over-achiever, over scheduled individual, if you ask most triathletes they will tell you it takes discipline and focus (and often a village) to do it all successfully.  But what are the little things, strategies, a new or seasoned triathlete can take to better balance training with family and work? Below are a few tips and strategies to learn to maximize every minute with training, so you can "do it all":

Physician's Corner: Dr. Camille Fox, D.C.

We are proud to be part of one of the most inclusive facilities in the Midwest, Diamond Edge Academy, and this month we continue our spotlight tour with another important piece within the Academy, Dr. Camille Fox, D.C.  Dr. Fox is part of an exceptional group all available at Diamond Edge Academy, including recovery, physical therapy, athletic trainers, chiropractors, biomechanists, exercise physiologists and others that provide each client/athlete with the ability to maximize their potential.  While Dr. Fox is a licensed chiropractor who owned a practice for many years in Naperville, her true passion is sports optimization through nutrient therapy.  "For many years, I readjusted the body."  Dr. Fox continues, "now I readjust the brain through nutrition."

Impact Dance Open House

Chiefs Rugby Club Fall Registration

Would your child be interesting in playing the up and coming sport of rugby?  Chiefs Rugby Club's, based out of Naperville, Fall registration is now open for all teams!

Practice starts on week commencing 14th August at Calvary Church, Naperville, IL

This is the 1st season for U8/U10 Rookie Rugby (non-contact) players!
