Sunday, May 20
Since Easter morning, our church has been celebrating what we've called "50 Days of Hope." We believe that University United Methodist Church is an agent of God's hope--that is, we confidently practice in the present the promises of God. Out of that hope, we have called the church to prayer, to action and to blessing.
Now, as we reach the highpoint of the season of hope, we ask for your participation.
This Sunday, May 20, is "One Great Day of Hope" at University. "One Great Day of Hope" is a time of in-gathering for a special one-time cash gift, over and above any estimate of plan for giving that you may have had for this year. We also ask that any "50 Days" gifts be completed by May 31 so that our leaders might plan out the ministry for the remainder of this year.
We believe that amazing things happen when people give to University. We also believe that God will bless our church as we take a financial step of faith of extraordinary generosity.
