From the President
To our JBE Family,
Happy Holidays everyone. I would like to say thank you to all our family members who helped with holiday shop. It was a pleasure getting to know everyone while helping all the JBE kids shop for their families! I hope you enjoy your winter break. Have a wonderful holiday and we will see you next year!
Thank you,
Andi McAvoy
PTA President
Remembering our wonderful JBE Staff this Holiday Season
"This is just a reminder that as you are gift giving this season we would like to make an effort to recognize not only our classroom teachers, but also our related arts and non-instructional staff members at JBE. Something as simple as a card and/or drawing is always appreciated. Although this is completely optional, the following assignments have been made (and communicated via room parents) if you wish to participate."
Thank You,
Vol. Coord. Stacia Losh

Box Tops Contests
|
The student and class that collect the most box tops each month will win prizes. The student will receive a gift card and the class will earn a party. Helpful Hints for Families Collecting Box Tops Be sure to check expiration dates. Please do not use staples to attach Box Tops to collection sheets. However, you may use staples to attach collection sheets together. You can submit ripped Box Tops as long as the expiration date is clear. Leave the Box Tops on the collection sheets and submit sheets in groups of 50 Box Tops (e.g., a stack of five 10-count collection sheets, a stack of two 25-count collection sheets). Don't want to glue or tape your Box Tops to collection sheets? Simply submit Box Tops in counts of 50 in a labeled zip-lock bag. Don't forget to label all your collection sheets and bags. Be sure your student and their class gets credit for your submission by clearly labeling your collection sheets and/or bags.

From the Garden
Thank you to all the classes that helped out in the school garden. The Earthboxes look great! We need additional help from students and teachers to saturate our hay planters whenever watering. We hope to get beans to flourish in the long planter and gourds in the pallets. Have a lovely Holiday!
