Working with a Flat Thread
If a flat thread, such as ribbon, is not laying correctly on the front of the canvas, turn the canvas over and straighten the thread on the back of the canvas. Flat threads need to lay completely flat on both sides of the canvas.

The Village Ewe is offering additional self-finishing options acrylic paperweights and boxes. Also the straw totes (see below) have been popular and we have restocked them. They are very stylish, great for the beach and summer travel and make for a fun project.

"Boo" Class - New Offering!
Saturday, July 15, 21 or August 5, 10
am-1 pm
This is our favorite halloween canvas and we decided to offer it as a class. The
3 hour class,
at a cost of $175, includes the canvas, threads, stitch guide, instruction and accessories
.
Attend one of these dates
and there will be plenty of time for us to have your stitched canvas finished in time for Halloween.
Saturday, August 5, 12 or September 9, 10 am-1 pm
We are offering this class again this summer. Get ready for  Thanksgiving early. In a 3 hour session, you will learn interesting new stitches. The result will be a turkey which can be finished as a stand-up, a pillow, sign or even as a napkin holder. The $75 cost includes the canvas, threads and instruction. Choose which day you'd like to attend.
We continue to offer the
Beginning Needlepoint Class
and
Workshops
offering stitching for everyone, at the following times:
- Every Tuesday: 10 am -12 pm
- Every Saturday: 10 am -12 pm
- First and Third Wednesday of each month: 7-9 pm
During these times, all are invited to bring their own canvas and stitch with us. While there is no charge, we do ask that you
reserve your spot in advance to ensure we have enough space.
