On the first Sunday of this new year, we will have a Small Group Fair in the Cafe after each service. You'll be able to check out the offerings for the next cycle (Jan-Mar) and find a group that feels right for you.
Also in the Cafe, you can sign up for the Men's Breakfast coming up on Saturday, January 20th. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy breakfast, make new friends, and hear an inspirational speaker from our own church! You can also sign up
In church, we will share communion during both services. Elementary children will join us, and then go to kids' church. Youth will stay in the services. Thanks to all our communion servers! Please remember to check in at the info booth with David before service begins.
Michael will be beginning a new series on "Hard Conversations," expanding on the Vineyard Resources' publication of the same name. We have ordered copies of this
for you (one per family please) to pick up on the way out.
And finally, if you would still like to participate in Advent Conspiracy, you can make donations this Sunday. Your contributions will benefit two local charities - Homes with Hope, the foster care and adoption agency, and the HIM Food Pantry. You can give to the AC fund online via our giving
, or you can give on Sunday. God is faithfully providing for these two organizations that serve the hungry, homeless, orphaned, abused, and neglected...all people that Jesus loves so much.
Hope to see you there on Sunday!

Journey to a Multicultural Church
Friday night January 26, 7pm and
Saturday January 27, 9am
Central to our church's mission is to be continually moving forward on a journey to be a diverse congregation that reflects the city in which we live. This workshop is foundational to understanding our mission and will give you the biblical, missional, and cultural background for our commitment. It will also provide opportunities to explore concepts and practices for relating to people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. If you have not taken this workshop, or need a refresher (there is a lot of new material), we hope you attend!
You can register here.
This 2 day event includes Friday night snacks, Saturday breakfast, and lunch. Childcare also provided with 5-day advance registration.
