Memorial Day Celebration in Shenandoah , VA

 240th Anniversary of the 7th Virginia Regiment of the Continental Line, Gloucester, VA
They were here in 1776 and they are BACK! Colonial Encampment in the Court Circle at the historic Gloucester Court House May 28, 10am-4pm. Activities include encampment, troop formations and roll call by costumed re-enactors; drilling of the volunteers; musket firing demonstrations: and cannon firing. The public may participate and receive a certificate. 3:30pm wreath laying ceremony at the monument in Court Circle honoring members of the 7th Virginia Regiment and all other veterans.
