Advent Campaign 2016
Shepherds on the Search

The objective of our annual Advent Campaign is to  prepare our hearts and homes to celebrate the birth of Christ throughout Advent.

Throughout the week, students will gather the specified items and bring them to their class. For every item donated, a staff will be hung on a wool line in their classroom. The goal for the class is to hang every staff (essentially two items per student/week) each and every week.  If a goal is exceeded for a week, congratulations are in order! The count on the line restarts each week.

If a class meets their shepherd staff goal for the week, they will be able to participate in a dress-up day on the Tuesday, following the weekend. Homeroom teachers will keep you updated with regards to dress-up days and details.

Second week of Advent - Week of Dec. 5th
Discover shepherd in coat closet -g athering children's winter clothes (new or gently used) for students at Sacred Heart School in downtown Calgary (mittens and hats are especially needed).

The role entails working with the Coaches and/or Teacher Representatives and helping co-ordinate and/or organizing various activities throughout the season for the team(s).

If you are interested in helping out, please contact Greg DeLaval and he will connect you with the appropriate team coach.  Thanks in advance for your consideration.  Let's build Crusader Spirit - come out and CHEER on our athletes!
