Keep Pets Safe in Cold Weather
Remember, if it is too cold for you to be outside it is probably too cold for your pets! As we continue to stay in single digit numbers, follow these tips to keep animals safe in cold weather!

Volunteer Opportunities
Want to help our dogs find their forever homes faster? The Humane Society of Greater Dayton partners with the Dayton Dog Training Club as part of the START program. Through this program, volunteers work weekly with dogs in our shelter to teach them commands such as stay, sit, down, etc. They also help them learn how to properly walk on a leash. These skills make them more adoptable and gets them into forever homes faster! If you would like more information on how to participate as a trainer, contact our Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] .
