Senior Sunday Celebration!
St. John's Choir in Concert
On Sunday, June 3 , St. John's Choir will be singing a concert of "Music for the Church's Year" at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Clearwater, where former St. John's Vicar, Fr. Randy Hehr, is now Rector. The concert is at 4:00 p.m. (note time) and is open to all, with free admission. In order to have lunch, travel to Clearwater and rehearse in situ for an early concert, Fr. Connelly and I have agreed that the choir will be excused the 11:15 service at St. John's that day. Holy Trinity is located at 3200, N. McMullen Booth Rd, 33761, opposite Mease Countryside Hospital.

Action Items and Opportunities
Flowers and Candle Available
The flowers at the Chapel altar are available on July 1 and 8. The Candle in the Sanctuary Light is available for  June 17 and July 1 If you would like to take one of these opportunities to support St. John's and honor a loved one, please contact the parish offices at or call 259.1570.
Tampa Deanery Dominican Republic Project Update
The Tampa Deanery's 2018 project is the completion of a three-year project building San Timoteo Episcopal Church in Nizao, which will be consecrated on June 30 . Click here for a flyer about the trip.
The teams will also be working at the San Matias Church and School in Santana, Bani, adjacent to the Morrow Center (our lodging).  We will be completing much needed repairs, painting and sealing the concrete roof. The school was constructed by the Tampa Deanery in 2002 and 2003.
Dates are: Team 1 - June 16-23, Team 2 - June 23-July 1, Team 3 - June 29-July 7. 
We still have spaces on Teams 1 and 3.

We want to provide support during your time of need! However, because health regulations prohibit the clergy from being informed when our parishioners are in the hospital, we will not know if you or someone you love is there unless you tell us. The Men's Thursday Bible Study and Lunch group meets on Thursdays at 11:45 a.m. at the School's Middle School campus. The readings the group studies are those from the Revised Common Lectionary for the coming Sunday. Please do not park in the Four Green Fields parking lots. Feel free to bring your lunch.

The CWBS group continues its spring study series on Tuesdays at 6:45 a.m. in the Peterson Room on the St John's Middle School campus.  Weekly meetings start with a light breakfast followed by prayer and study until 8:00 a.m. All women of St John's and their friends are welcome.
