Mission Trip Highlights
Our Youth Mission group continued their week with more daily service and ended with a free day of rafting, and spending the night in a cave. Everyone got back safely late Saturday night (and 5 participants even served in Sunday's 9:15 service)! Thank you to everyone who supported our St John's Youth Mission Trip!
Alpha House Ingathering 2018 Another Huge Success!
For the 18th year in a row, the parishioners of St. John's Episcopal have supported the mothers and children at Alpha House in an amazing way. Recently, 50 crib and sheet sets, over 2,000 diapers, over 4,000 infants wipes, and a multitude of other necessities were delivered to the residents. These numbers represent a significant increase in giving by our parish.

Additionally, over $1,000 in cash and gift cards were given by St. John's and its parishioners. There were also many new items from car seats to cookware sets and strollers. It was just an amazing ingathering and very much appreciated.

Alpha House has announced big changes for the upcoming year. They are expanding their mission and to that end will be moving from their current location. We will monitor all of the progress to understand how it might affect our 2019 ingathering.

Many thanks also to all of the volunteers that made this possible. You were all such great help!

Yes, everything is for your sake, so that grace, as it extends to more and more people, may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.  So we do not lose heart.
