The Story of Salvation: A Lenten Bible Study
Sundays, March 12 and 19, April 2 and 9, 10:10 a.m. in Classroom 5
This year our community will begin the celebration of Christ's resurrection on Saturday, April 15 with an Easter Vigil service. Since the early days of the church, Christians have gathered on the eve of Easter to recount the story of salvation, beginning with creation and culminating in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Throughout Lent we invite you to study some of the Old Testament passages that help us tell this story. Please join the Rev. Sudie Niesen Thompson during the 10:TEN education hour as we delve into the texts of our "holy history."

Join Us on Social Media This Lent!
How do you picture faith? What about community? Or hope?
During Lent we invite you to do just that - to picture the journey. Throughout the season we will post words - three each week - inspired by the coming Sunday's Scripture lesson. We encourage you to take some time to contemplate the given word and post a picture that shows how you perceive it. No explanation needed. Just snap a photo and share it on social media with the day's word in the caption and the hashtag #WPCPictureLent. Please share your photos on Westminster's Facebook page by attaching them in the Comments section beneath the word, or tag @WPCDelaware on Instagram . We hope you will join us in picturing Lent! News to Note
Welcome New WPC Sexton,
John Young
Paul Crothamel, Westminster's Director of Facilities and Security, recently hired John Young to replace Sexton Terrence Clark, who has taken a full-time job elsewhere. As we THANK Terrence for his dedicated work with us, we WELCOME John to Westminster. Prior to accepting this job, John Young worked for Paul Crothamel for three years when Paul managed the facilities at Gilpin Hill from 2012-2015. As an introduction to his new responsibilities at Westminster, John will work with Terrence and Roger Atkins for a month. Please introduce yourself if you see him. We are delighted he is here at Westminster!
