Music of Franz Schubert
Sunday, May 21, 9:00 a.m. service
At the 9 o'clock worship service this Sunday, May 21, a beloved choral masterwork, the Mass in G-major by Viennese composer Franz Schubert, will be presented by the Westminster Choir, accompanied by string orchestra. With the various movements interspersed throughout the service, you can perhaps imagine yourself transported back to the early 1800's where you may have heard this music on a Sunday morning at a parish church in Austria. Pictured is Schubert's grave, at the Zentralfriedhof (Central Cemetery) in Vienna. Note: ONE worship service this Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

News to Note
Seeking Part-Time Director of Preschool Ministries
If you love children, love to organize, and would love to earn some extra money, you may be just the person we need. Westminster's Sunday morning ministry for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers is searching for a new director. The nursery and preschool suites are beautiful, welcoming spaces, and our nursery care providers and volunteer Godly Care teachers/coordinators are exceptional. However, we need a director to oversee these Sunday morning programs and keep them running smoothly. Please click here to read the job description, and contact Susan Williamson ( [email protected] ) to learn more or to apply for the position.
Calling All Knitters
Spring is a great time to clean out any unused yarn you may have tucked away in a closet. Our youth will be going to Guatemala mid-June. There is much need of yarn for a prayer shawl ministry. If you have any to donate, please put in a bag, mark for Cathy Higgins and leave at reception or the coat closet outside Community Hall.
