See what's happening at White Lick Elementary
May 5, 2017
From the Desk of Mrs. Wise:
We had a great week celebrating "Staff Appreciation Week" with the White Lick Staff. Thanks to the PTO and all of the parents who volunteered and donated items for our events this week.  We also want to thank our Student Council for their help with special treats and lunch today. I also want to thank you for taking the time to write personal notes and sending emails to staff. The words of encouragement and appreciation are so valuable and appreciated.
Next week we are having a spirit week celebrating literacy and our author visit on Wednesday. Our spirit days are listed below. On Wednesday, Troy Cummings will be here to spend the day with our students. He will be sharing with our students his experiences of being a published author and illustrator.
Thursday we will be celebrating our special areas with our "Celebration of the Arts" event. This is a great event to celebrate the great things our students do in their special area classes including art, music, PE, and library. Please plan on coming at 5:30 so you can get in all the great activities planned for that event. Our evening will wrap up at 7:15 with the White Lick choir singing in the cafeteria. Hope to see you there!
Have a great weekend! Let's hope we see some sunshine.
Mrs. Susan Wise
