Dear PACS Graduate:
Please take a moment to review what is going on at your Alma mater! While some of the faces on campus are different (and some you will still recognize), much has changed at the school especially since its relocation from downtown Athens. What remains the same is the school's mission to educate students in a wholesome, safe, Christ centered environment. We have several opportunities for alumni to rekindle old friendships, and we would LOVE to have you back on campus! Go Wolverines!!

Each week, PACS students gather for chapel services led in the lower school by principal Becky Callway and in the middle and high school by Spiritual Life Director Ben Wallis.
Other exciting and meaningful areas of discipleship include "Wolverine Awakening", a series of special chapel services at the beginning of each semester that provides a time of spiritual focus to start the new year and Spiritual Life Retreats that provide middle and high school grade levels a day off campus to have a special time of worship, teaching, small groups, and class bonding.

Two students in the Prince Avenue Christian School Class of 2018 were recently recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program for their outstanding performance on the October 2016 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Emily Weaver was named a Semifinalist, and Luke Wells was named a Commended Student.

The Prince Avenue Christian School high school Fine Arts Department recently placed third in the Georgia High School Association Region 8 One Act Competition with their production of Still Life with Iris. Additionally, senior Mary Grace Palmer and junior Abby Frost were selected as All-Star cast members. This marks the first time in the program’s history that PACS Fine Arts has placed in region competition.

The Lady Wolverines advanced to the Elite Eight after 9-1 and 13-5 wins over Savannah Christian in the second round of the GHSA Softball Private State Tournament.
At the tournament, the Lady Wolverines won an exciting 7-6 comeback victory over George Walton, but fell to Wesleyan in the next round of play and then to First Presbyterian Day to bring their very successful season to a close.

After going 9-1 in regular season play, the Wolverines advanced to the semifinals of the GHSA State Football Playoffs for the third year in a row. This year's seniors graduate with a record of 44-6, 3 region championships, and 4 state playoff runs.

As the Epistle Award recipient for the Class of 2017, Prince Avenue Christian School graduate Jared Gilstrap definitely made his mark on PACS. Now, as Jared has started his college career at the University of Georgia, he is continuing to make his mark – this time as the first Prince graduate to be accepted into the prestigious Redcoat Marching Band.
