Mt Abram Skiers and Riders,
There may not be snow in your back yard but there's plenty of snow at Mt Abram! Temperatures have been ideal for snowmaking over the last few days and we have been blasting the guns around the clock. Combine that with the snow showers in the forecast and the conditions are going to be sweet for skiing and riding at Mt Abram this week! Tomorrow is 2 for 1 Thursday, Free after Three, and $5 large Portland Pie Pizza night at Loose Boots Lounge. The après party kicks off at 4pm with live music by Bill Cameron. If you can't make it over tomorrow pack the car with a few of your friends and join us Friday for Carload Caravan where everyone legally seated and belted in the vehicle skis or rides for just $75!
This weekend at Mt Abram we have our first Full Moon Hike, a guided winter hike to the peak of Mt Abram to view a spectacular full moon. The crew meets at the base area at 5:00 with a prompt departure to the top at 5:30pm. Gear is transported to the summit so you can focus on taking in all of the night sights. After reaching the summit the group relaxes with hot cider, cheese and crackers and sometimes a little music. Then it's hiker's choice of descent of the mountain whether by foot or by ski. Approximately round trip time of 2.5 hours, No advance reservation required but recommended by calling 875-5000 or email email@example.com
If you need the evening to yourself don't forget about Kids Nite Out at Westside Lodge. Kid's Night Out allows both parents and children to enjoy the best of Mt Abram. A fun filled evening of arts and crafts, movies, video games, dinner, and snacks. Price is $15 per child or $35 for a family. Reservations strongly encouraged. For more information or to sign up for Kid's Nite Out, stop by the ticketing office or call 207.875.5000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Reservations are strongly recommended as space is limited.
See you tomorrow,
Team Mt Abram
