The evolution of Syntec

When Syntec Director James Campbell's wife was in hospital in the late 1990s, he saw that the numbers given for the bedside phones were attached to that handset, so if you moved bed you had to have a new number given to you - highly inconvenient for everyone involved. He realised there was an opportunity to create portable numbers and so Syntec was born to fulfil that need.
 
In this blog post he explains more about how Syntec has evolved over the last two decades. 

Syntec has been in business for nearly twenty years now. From humble beginnings as a hospital bedside telephony provider, we have developed into a provider of a wide range of integrated contact centre systems
and network telecommunications services.

CardEasy wins prestigious PCI Award for Excellence 

Syntec were proud winners of this PCI Award for Excellence for the CardEasy 'keypad payment by phone' system
at a glittering awards dinner at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, London recently. 

CardEasy is Syntec's PCI DSS solution for 'cardholder not present' (CNP) phone payments and call recording, as well as for de-scoping call centres from PCI DSS regulations and controls.
