ITEN Wired Geeks Hit the Beach! 
ITEN Wired, the Gulf Coast’s premier conference for executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, and educators working in technology got underway October 12th with a free job fair.  A record 351 people attended the three day conference hosted by IT Gulf Coast and FloridaWest Economic Development Alliance.

This year’s topics included cybersecurity, tech makers, start-up tech, virtual environments, simulation and robotics. Equal parts education and networking, ITEN Wired offers an excellent forum for professional development and an opportunity to exchange ideas and forge new collaborations around innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.

Cyberthon 2017 --  January 20-22, 2017 
Gearing up early for its third annual cybersecurity challenge event, CyberThon officials have announced improvements that include an online banking financial theme and enrollment open to any high school or college student in the Pensacola region. CyberThon 2017 is set for January 20-22 at the National Flight Academy, hosted by the AFCEA Blue Angels Pensacola Chapter. The event brings together community leaders, cyber experts and a cadre of cyber competitors from local schools to participate in real‐world cyber operations and defense sessions.
