Celebrating Our Third Birthday!
It's hard to believe that the clinic has been open for three years! On Friday, April 15 th,  volunteers, board members and staff gathered to celebrate this milestone.

Many, many thanks to all who have supported us generously with both time  
and dollars. We wouldn't be here without you!  

Client Spotlight
When Sassy first came to the clinic, she had lost the use of her back legs. Although her dad was happy to carry her around everywhere, one of our volunteers wondered if there might be a better solution.

Sassy's new wheels
Thanks to PIN board member Lexie Stevenson and volunteer Emmy Dee,
a funding campaign was set up on YouCaring.com. With the help of Shawn Zimmermann of Med Vet, Sassy was fitted with a custom mobility cart and now has the independence she deserves. Both Sassy and her dad are very grateful to all who donated to create this happy tail!

Hyde Park Square Wine Walk 
Wednesday, June 8th 
6 pm - 9 pm

Sip wine and shop to support Pets In Need!

The evening includes live music and promotional pricing at many of the shops on Hyde Park Square. Just purchase a $10 bracelet at Rejuve Cosmetic & Wellness Center (3434 Michigan Avenue) to enjoy  the free wine and beer at participating businesses. Proceeds from bracelet sales each month are donated to local charities. Pets In Need will benefit from the June 8th event.

Invite your friends and have an after-work party! "Wine Walk Wednesdays" begin in May and continue on the second Wednesday of each month through October.

Welcome New Staff!

Pets In Need continues to grow and we're happy to introduce two additions to our
staff :
Kayla Sciutto, Veterinary Assistant
Kayla will complete the Veterinary Technology program at the University of Cincinnati - Blue Ash this month. She has been an intern for Pets In Need this spring and we're looking forward to her joining us as an employee after graduation.

Heidi Woods, Development Director
Heidi recently returned to Cincinnati from northern Wisconsin and we're so happy to have her on our team.  She is responsible for coordinating all development, marketing, and communications efforts at Pets In Need. 
By the Numbers  

As of 3/31/ 2016, there are 1,958 households with 2,319 cats and 2,279 dogs enrolled and eligible to receive services at Pets In Need. 
A very special thank you to these organizations that have generously supported Pets In Need since the very beginning.
