NOW OPEN - Nana's Cafe
Alana Dennis, a counseling client of the Women's Business Center, opened Nana's Cafe in Blue Springs, Missouri. WBC staff member Judy helped her with her business plan and financials so she could receive funding to open her restaurant.

They are open Sunday - Friday from 6:00am - 2:00pm for lunch and breakfast. Make sure you swing by!

The Capital Series
The Capital Series is offered by the Enterprise Center in Johnson County for investors and entrepreneurs, allowing for detailed discussions of the due diligence process, term sheets, valuations and investor pitches during the equity investment process, as well as discussion of possible sources of debt financing.

ECJC launches boot camp for pitching to angel investors
Thanks to funding from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation , ECJC is launching Investment Bootcamp, an eight-week program for startups that are gaining enough traction to be an attractive investment option in three to six months.
