From the Chamber President:

October 31 st was our last day with Executive Director, Ursula Gilmore. On behalf of the Chamber, we wish her well in her future endeavors.

November and December will be both a reflective and pro active time for the Chamber Directors and support staff as we evaluate our mission statement and begin our journey of hiring a new Executive Director.

We will continue to provide the best service to our members and community during this transitional time and we are always available to hear your concerns, interests and suggestions.

The month of November brings a flurry of activity with the holidays quickly sneaking up on us. I’d like to bring to your attention the 2017 New Business Workshop presented in partnership by Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce and The City of Twentynine Palms. While this workshop is geared toward those wishing to open a business in Twentynine Palms, this workshop will also be valuable to our new and established businesses. For instance, The Kosmont Companies comprehensive study highlights business opportunities and retail leakage in the Twentynine Palms area.   Please share this information and invite community members who are considering opening a new business.

Have a great week,

Jacob Smith,
President
