    We are putting together 60 gift bags for our new educators and employees at Llano ISD and Llano Christian Academy. They will be handed out on August 11 to the ones at Llano ISD and a few days later at Llano Christian Academy. Each one gets a bag with information about Llano; events, shopping, dining, and area attractions. They also get lifesaver and smarties’ candy along with an ice cream sundae to welcome them to our cool little town. This is a great way for our businesses to let these folks know about them, we need coupons, pens, pencils, anything you would like to add to the bag. They need to be in the chamber by noon, Wednesday, August 9th to give us time to get the bags loaded.   
   In August, the Llano Visitor Center will be 10 years old, and to celebrate we are having a birthday party for the entire town. The party will be held on August 15, 5:30-7:00 at the Visitor Center, cake, hot dogs and hamburgers will be served, with soda and water to drink. Make plans to attend as we celebrate 10 years of welcoming visitors to Llano in our present location.

Soar Health Club located at 105 W. Grayson Street in Llano. They are set to open August 19th with a ribbon cutting on August 18th at 5:30PM.

Sunday evening Lawn Concert at Badu Park as we celebrate the official end to summer, the Hottest Event in Llano, Texas! Bring your ice chest, food, lawn chairs and enjoy some of the best music you will find anywhere!

  The Llano Chamber of Commerce will once again partner with Diamond S Rodeo Productions to bring Xtreme Bullriding back to Llano on October 21st. 40 of the top PRCA cowboys compete against the NFR bucking stock of the Rafter G Rodeo Company to compete for $10,000 in prize money. Gates open at 2:00pm with live music, vendors, food trucks, kids activities and of course a mechanical bull followed by bullriding at 7:30pm  For additional information on sponsoring a bull, a vendor booth or an ad in the program call Sharon at 512-547-3372 or email at [email protected]
