Remembrance Day - Nov. 11th All facilities closed until 1 pm The Dakota Fieldhouse and Jonathan Toews Sportsplex will be closed until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11 in accordance with the Remembrance Day Act. Regular operations will resume at 1PM.

Dakota Seniors/Older Adults Programs - November 13th In lieu of Remembrance Day, Dakota Seniors Cribbage will not be taking place on November 13th, 2017. Cribbage will resume on Monday November 20th

AGM - November 28th The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 @ 7:00 pm at the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex Gym, 1188 Dakota Street. The 2017/18 Slate of Nominees to the Board of Directors is posted on our website. Everyone Welcome - Refreshments will be served!

New and Exciting Volunteer Opportunities!

Fieldhouse Ambassador If you are an enthusiastic individual who enjoys connecting with your community, we welcome you to join our team as a volunteer Fieldhouse Ambassador!   As a Fieldhouse Ambassador you will welcome guests and showcase the Fieldhouse by providing tours and directions. You will also support the Dakota Community Centre staff at the front desk. Shifts are available Monday – Friday mornings or afternoon. Hours can be flexible including some evenings and weekends. Breakfast with Santa Santa and Mrs. Clause are looking for volunteers on Saturday, December 9th from 8AM-noon to assist with our annual Breakfast with Santa. Some of the responsibilities include pancake making, coat check, kids activities, kitchen duties and much more!
