Greetings!

Greetings from your friends at the Ella Johnson Library!

Summer is right around the corner and we're looking forward to all of the fun the warmer weather will bring, including our annual Summer Reading Program.

This year we'll be launching our new Summer Reading service, Beanstack. With Beanstack you'll be able to register for the Summer Reading Program right from home. Logs will be available for download on our website, so the only thing you'll only have to come to the library for is to stock up on reading materials and to pick up your prizes!

The Summer Reading Program will run from June 1-July 31 and we have lots of special programs and events going on all summer long. More information will be posted on our website soon, so check back frequently to learn about all of the great things we have in store for you this summer!

Thank you for being a part of the library community!
Upcoming Events
The Ella Johnson Library will be closed on Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day. We will re-open on Tuesday, May 29th at 9:30 AM.
Letterboxing
What is Letterboxing? Letterboxing is an intriguing pastime combining artistic ability with "treasure-hunts" in parks, forests, and cities around the world. Participants seek out hidden letterboxes by cracking codes and following clues. Small boxes are hidden in various locations--usually outdoors, though many are planted indoors as well--and the creator of the box will release clues so others can go out and find them later.
Join us to learn more about this pastime!
