Bank’s generosity recognized with honor
The Association of Fundraising Professionals of East Central Illinois recognized BankChampaign with its Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation Award at the 2017 National Philanthropy Day ceremony earlier this year. BankChampaign helps make firefighter training possible

The University of Illinois Fire Service Institute recognized BankChampaign’s financial support of IFSI’s training for more than 50,000 firefighters and first responders throughout Illinois each year. The training is now even more critical as these professionals deal with an increasing level of unconventional hazards and rescue situations.  


Kenny Bilger joins bank’s Board of Directors  

Currently Chief Executive Officer of Christie Clinic and formerly the Chief Financial Officer there, Kenny joined the BankChampaign Board in January 2017. He is also the founder of Community Partners Health Plans, Inc. Kenny received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant.
He and his family reside in Champaign.

Bank Champaign’s  Bowl for Kids’ Sake employee team (left to right) Brittany Busboom, Hend Abdelfattah, Andrea Lynch, Karen Sharp, Andy Thorman and Cary Steinman were part of an eight-person team that was the #1 fundraising group for central Illinois in the 2017 Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl-a-Thon. Team members who participated in the event at Old Orchard Lanes in Savoy raised $1,577 in donations from co-workers, friends and family. 

Our Sixth Annual Shred Event on May 6 was a huge success. In just two short hours, we took in an estimated 8,000 pounds of paper from our customers and the community!
