Happy Spring Break
For kids and adults alike the spring time weather and change from dark to light can ignite a desire to get outside more, soak up the sunshine and enjoy the change in seasons. See the newsletter below for ideas on how to spend time enjoying a "stay-cation" as well some info on NEW affordable programs in the Bow Valley.

Ways to enjoy a STAY-CATION
  1.  Have a night (or two) on the town. Of course, even a stay-cation can get expensive if you're doing something every day. However, you could stick to free or cheap activities except for one or two big nights out. See a movie with your family, or go to a play or musical. Make a night of it and have a nice dinner out.

For cheaper show options, look at matinee showings, which will likely have more affordable ticket prices.

2. Be a tourist - most often locals stay away from the touristy places, however these can be some of the most beautiful places to visit. If you haven't been a tourist in awhile then its time to take the kids around the Bow Valley  (take advantage of some of locals discounts that are offered).

3.Check your local event calendar. If it's spring break across the province, other people are likely in the same boat. That means that you'll probably be able to find plenty of free or cheap events to attend during the week, such as craft shows, music festivals, or events at your local library.

Relax,Enjoy and Have some FUN with the kids this Spring Break!!
Living the Bow Valley can provide so many options to the locals - remember people come from all over the world to play in our backyard.
