A quarterly e-newsletter from Renewal, Inc.
Many people make New Year’s resolutions. Each day is an opportunity to choose to make a difference and do the right thing. Today, I am proud and excited to announce a $20 million project to construct a new Renewal facility in Downtown Pittsburgh. This building will accommodate the growth of Renewal, Inc.’s programs and services for people reentering the community from periods of incarceration, those at risk of re-offending and preventative programs for at-risk youth and their families. As many of you know, the demand for programs aimed at heading off at-risk behavior for young people is ever increasing, but I believe what we can accomplish in our new facility could be a game-changer. To make this project a reality, our “Renewing Hope for Better Futures Capital Campaign” is in full swing. Please look at our Case for Support and learn more about Renewal’s exceptional track record of helping those in need and how you can help. Capital Campaign Update

Renewing Hope for Better Futures   Capital Campaign activities are well underway as Renewal management has been meeting with elected officials and other representatives at the city, county, state and federal levels to discuss possible funding opportunities. We also continue to meet with representatives of charitable foundations and business, civic, and faith leaders to discuss Renewal's plans and ways that they and their organizations can be involved in supporting the project. Thank you!

Our company has been partnering with Renewal, Inc. for about 15 years. They helped us to find qualified laborers with roofing experience. Roofing isn’t easy work. It can be dangerous, and depending on the weather, working conditions are often not ideal.  So for us, to be able to reach out to Renewal, have them conduct the job search, set up the interviews and offer their personal insights into the job candidates, is just invaluable.
