Fun at the office!
Employees of Direct Alarm had a great time learning a super simple recipe for the time honored breakfast treat donuts!

Donuts from canned biscuits...who knew? Mrs. Brenda brought in her cast iron skillet and showed everyone in the office how to get it done! This super simple recipe only takes minutes to prep and they are so yummy it takes even less time to eat!

Donuts topped with powdered sugar, cinnamon and homemade glaze were devoured in minutes at the office! Treat your family or friends to some super easy donut fun this weekend!

Recipe : Lay out the biscuits on a cutting board and with a 1 1/2-inch round cookie or biscuit cutter, cut out a hole from the middle of each biscuit. Fry them in the oil until golden and then flip with tongs to fry the other side. You can even fry the donut holes!

 TEST YOUR SECURITY SYSTEM WEEKLY
 Basic security system test procedure

First, call our Main Office at 770-412-1150.  Explain that you would like to test your alarm system.  Be prepared to give them your "Pass Word" and let them know how long you want your system "ON TEST".  This will keep the police department or fire department from coming to your business or home.

  1. Arm your system in the "EXIT" mode or "AWAY" mode and step out side through the door that you normally Enter and Exit from, close the door and wait about 60 seconds.
  2. Open the door, but, DO NOT disarm the system.  Wait there until the siren begins to sound.
  3. Once the Siren is sounding, open and close all other protected zones (while the siren is sounding), walk in front of any Motion Sensors and activate any other detection devices that may be installed at the premises.
  4. Make sure that the siren sounds for at least 60 seconds.  Then disarm and reset your system.
  5. Activate your duress code and panic buttons on the keypad as well as any other panic buttons or devices.  Then reset the system.
  6. One at a time, activate all Smoke/Heat Detection Devices (if they are electronically connected to your security system), resetting the system after each activation.  NOTE: Wait 2 minutes after resetting the fire alarm before attempting to activate another Smoke/Heat Detection Device.  See Fire Alarm Limitations.
  7. Finally, call the Main Office back and ask the representative to tell you what signals they received.  Be prepared to write down the list of signals that the central station received.

If you don't test weekly, then don't be surprised if your security system does not perform when you need it most!  Direct Alarm DOES NOT test your system automatically nor do we have any means of knowing when it is not functioning properly.  TEST YOUR SYSTEM WEEKLY!!!
