Each school in South Carolina has a governing body called the School Improvement Council. In general, the School Improvement Council works hand in hand with the principal to develop and implement the school improvement plan. This is a very important group that is designed to have a major say in what goes on in our schools. To learn more about School Improvement Councils visit this website or talk to your school's principal.

Each school has a Parent Teacher Student Association as well. To belong, there is a nominal fee (usually about $5.00). When it comes to supporting our schools, the more the merrier!
