As always, participation is optional. For those choosing to not participate and dress up for theme days, HT uniforms are expected. Can't wait to see how creative our students can be!

The Upper School will be holding two Homecoming Dances on the evening Saturday, October 23rd -- one for the Junior High (grades 7 & 8) and the other for our Senior High (grades 9-12).

Place: Kelly Ford Stadium
Attire: Dressy casual (khaki shorts with a polo, sundress, etc.) PLEASE NOTE: All shoes must be flats or wedges… no heels!

Make Plans for LNO and Bingo!

Ladies’ Night Out Bingo Bash “Night at the Movies” will take place on Saturday, November 13th at the Lower School! Tickets will go on sale October 16th and are $60 each or $480 for a table of 8. We will also have 5 exclusive VIP tables available for those who want premium seating, early entry to set up and pre-event bubbly.

Keep checking HT's Facebook page to get a sneak peak at all of the designer bags being donated as prizes for this special event. Proceeds raised will help fund our Lower School teacher wish lists and campus projects.

The Lower School Parent Association is overwhelmed with joy, gratitude and excitement to see the success and participation of our annual Read-a-Thon fundraiser. Thank you all! We are on our way to being able to equip every classroom on the list with a SMART board thanks to your generosity! We are up to 85% participation school wide and just over $39,000 raised ….and we still have several days left! Keep an eye out for an extra reward for all students who get an additional pledge over the weekend! Don't forget to log those minutes & READ, READ, READ!
Adopt a Cheerleader or Football Player and Support HT Athletics
To celebrate our HT Athletics program and the students who make it a success, we invite our K-6 students/families to "adopt" an Upper School cheerleader or football player! This program is open to all K-6 students at the Lower School for a cost of $30. Students will receive a t-shirt and participate in experiences on October 29th as detailed below. Forms can be found in onCampus (see the yellow bar running across the top of the page after your sign in) and are due by October 10th.

UPPER SCHOOL NEWS & INFORMATION
Reminder: Wednesday, Oct. 13 is a Half Day
 
Dismissal for all Upper School students will be at 11:30 AM on October 13th. Carline will operate as normal in front of the Scott Center starting at 11:30 AM. Tiger Transit will arrive at the Upper School at 12:10 PM and will depart for the Lower School at 12:20 PM. Please note: Students going to the Lower School will need to be picked up no later than 12:45 PM as there will be no supervision for them at the Lower School. The Library will be open at the Upper School until 4:00 PM, but teachers will not be accessible due to parent/teacher conferences.
Teachers are available for individual Upper School parent conferences virtually (via Zoom) on Wednesday, October 13th from 12:30-3:30 pm. On Thursday, October 14th, teachers will be open to in-person conferences. All meetings must be scheduled in advance and we do require face coverings while inside a classroom meeting with the teacher.

The PSAT is October 13th

PSAT Student Guides are going home this week and next as students complete their pre-registration information in their English classes. If your child wishes to pick up their Student Guide early, they may do so, please have them see Mrs. Ramos in the College Office.

PSAT Reminders for Students and Parents
  1. Room assignments will be posted around campus by the end of the day Tuesday. 
  2. Get a good night’s sleep.
  3. Wear your uniform.
  4. Eat a healthy breakfast with some protein.
  5. Arrive early. Late students will not be permitted to take the test.
  6. Items to Bring:
  • At least two #2 pencils – NOT MECHANICAL
  • Approved calculator with batteries charged
  • Water bottle
  • Snack
  1. Do not wear a smart watch or any device that can access the internet. All cellphones must be turned completely off and will be collected prior to testing.
  2. We will release all testing rooms at the same time – approximately 11:30am.
Math Lab is Open
The Upper School Math Lab is open weekly to help students with their math homework as well as to prepare for upcoming math tests. Mrs. Kerry Grant, our Junior High Math Coach runs every session with the help of several Mu Alpha Theta students. Every student is welcome, no matter the level of math. Math Lab is held in the Library Computer Lab every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 3:05 to 3:45 PM and every Friday morning from 7:15-7:50 AM.

Senior Retreat Day! 

Senior Retreat Day is this Wednesday, October 13 from 8:00-11:30 AM in the Tiger Cafe. Students should wear their uniform shorts and HT spirit wear shirts. A fun morning is planned for all seniors. Activities include breakfast (Thank you Parents!), discussion and voting for important senior year traditions, senior class photo, and some work on college applications, so be sure to bring your laptops!

IMPORTANT: Athletic Clearances for Winter Sports
 
If your Upper School student plans to play sports in the 2021-2022 school year, please read the following important information.
 
Holy Trinity has partnered with the Florida High School Sports Association (FHSAA) to provide our families with a convenient way to complete the necessary paperwork to ensure your child is eligible to play a sport this school year. All documents will now be uploaded though an online athletic clearance.

Parents and students should complete this clearance together.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Students will not be able to try out for and/or participate in any Holy Trinity sports unless this information has been completed and submitted ONLINE.

Athletic Boosters Membership

Families interested in purchasing an HT Athletic Boosters membership online can do so HERE. Athletic Booster Memberships are available all year. In order to be included on the Membership Banner at the stadium, memberships must be purchased by Sunday, October 11th.
Individual football and volleyball game tickets, and season and annual passes for HT home games are now available for purchase online. A limited amount of tickets will be available to purchase at the gate on game days. 
Holy Trinity now has branded merchandise available for purchase onsite at the Tiger Athletic Complex or online at our Tiger Athletic Gear Shop.

IT TIPS & TRICKS
New Password Requirements for Parent Accounts in onCampus

As of October 12th, onCampus will require stronger passwords for parent accounts to increase the system’s security. If your current password does not meet the standards below, you will be prompted to create a new, stronger password when you log in on or after 10/12.

Your new password must include the following:
  • At least 12 characters long
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character
  • At least one upper case letter
  • At least one lower case letter

On a related note, users who have not logged into the onCampus environment for over 365 days will be automatically “disabled.” Even when an account is disabled, emails and notifications will still be sent to the user. The user will not be able to log into onCampus without first contacting helpdesk to have the account re-enabled. If you find that your account has been “disabled,” please email [email protected] for assistance.
