Foster Parents Night Out
Grace Point Church has Foster Parents Night out the first Friday of each month from 6-9 p. Please use the registration link below if you would like to participate.

Moms Night Out
Foster Change is cordially inviting you to attend a Mom's Night Out event. Enjoy some food, wine and door prizes and relax as you mingle with with other members of Foster Change. Open to foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers, this event is free to members Be sure to use Code FCMembers when you register or $20 at the door. Health Fair & Walkathon 2017 "Celebrating Your Health
Free Health Fair on November 4, which will commence at 10:00 am until 03:00 pm. This Health Fair is hosted by Southern Nevada Health District and Alliance Against Diabetes.

Flu Shot Friday
While shots may not be for everyone, we would like to encourage you to stay healthy. Employers may sometimes offer free flu shots. Below is a link for low cost flu shots such as Costco. Older people and individuals with low immune systems are more at risk to getting the flu take care of yourself.

If you are like many of us who work all day or if you do not like to leave your house, you may want to consider this great resource. Make your appointment and have a consultation with a doctor through the computer. We are so excited to share this with you.

Thank you Veterans! Did you know Veterans Day was made a federal holiday in 1938 and we celebrate it on November 11th regardless of what day of the week it falls on. Thank you to the men and women that have served and continue to serve our country.

Free CPR/First Aid/AED November Training

This interactive course will be offered to Foster Change Members for free on November 19th from 2 pm-6 pm. Please sign up by contacting Sandy at 702-970-4546 RSVP is required.

The Adoption Exchange Presnets:
The Cost of Caring-Secondary Trauma and Burnout for Parents and Professionals

Parenting children with trauma histories is rewarding, difficult and demanding all at the same time. Foster Care, Kinship and Adoptive Parenting bring new experiences and challenges which may affect the child in care and the entire family system.

This training will address the Cost of Caring and how to effectively manage secondary trauma in order to protect ourselves from burnout. Come practice how to keep other people's chaos from becoming your own chaos!

New Online Training Requirement for Licensing: ALL caregivers also have to complete two online trainings BEFORE they can be licensed:



Required Training for Renewal Licensing:  All caregivers need to take 12 hours of training to maintain their license after the first 12 months. There are some classes that are required. Here are the classes. If you haven't taken the two above ALSO include those:
