* A monthly cabaret-style night of entertainment and spectacle in a decadent, historic venue featuring comedy, music, and more from mostly-local bands and comedians. 2nd Tuesday of each month. *

Starting in February 2013,  Illegal Pete's began presenting some of the finest independent bands and recording artists that the region has to offer at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret. It's a night of comedy, music, friends and fun. With the new year, we are making some changes: different day (instead of the first Wednesday of the month, it's the second Tuesday!); new host (the hilarious Kristin Rand!); and more guests - two comedians + two bands! A special night in the coolest showroom in town for only $5.00! Now hosted by Stand Up & Sketch Comedienne Extraordinaire, Kristin Rand.

Performing as the musical guests at the eleventh Greater Than Social Club are the blistering and burning rock and roll gang, The Knew, and the empowered musical voice of a youth culture that is seeking a new rebellion, Wiredogs. Providing the comedic entertainment are two top notch comedians, returning comic Chris Charpentier, and Jordan Doll!
The Knew

The Knew are a blistering and burning rock and roll gang outta Denver, CO. They serve pop-dosed, punk-lined jams that'll make you sweat and jolt just like they do. The Knew are front row boys that picked up some instruments and think everybody else should do the same.

Wiredogs

We are the authors of the future. We are the architects of a time regarded as still to come. And we will rise like the sands of the desert. Rise like the waves of the ocean and the winds of the mountains and you will hear us. You will see us. You will feel our words in your bones, in your very soul. For We are the future. You are the future

Chris Charpentier
Chris Charpentier has quickly made a name for himself in the blustering Denver comedy scene and in doing so has opened for the likes of Dana Gould, Bobby Slaton, Sean Patton, Doug Stanhope and many more. Chris has been featured in The Denver Post, Westword and The Onion's AV Club. A favorite in clubs and collages, Chris has also performed at a slew of stand up comedy festivals including Bridgetown, Crom Fest, Too Much Funstival and was the crowed winner of the "Audience Favorite" at the 2011 Laugh Track Comedy Festival.
Jordan Doll
Born in the mountains and lured to the city by the bright lights and savory aromas, Jordan Doll is a writer, actor and stand-up comedian from Denver, Colorado. He can usually be found cracking wise up and down exotic Colfax Avenue or at Comedy Works where Jordan is a regular perfoJORDrmer and a recent finalist in the 2012 New Faces of Comedy contest. Jordan's Jokes are safe for human consumption and are guaranteed one hundred percent hilarious, delightfully outlandish, and chock full of all the monsters.
Kristin Rand
Westword called energetic powerhouse Kristin Rand "one of the most gloriously authentic, irrepressible personalities in the city." She's performed on all of Denver's most well-respected stages, including the Gr@wlix and Too Much Fun! She's worked with the likes of Nikki Glaser, Beth Stelling, and Sean Patton. She runs her own monthly showcase "Delusions of Randeur" at Denver's Beauty Bar. In addition to stand up, Kristin writes and performs sketch comedy with her group Moxie!
Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret
Andrew Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret is located underground in the historic D&F Clocktower in the heart of the Denver theatre, hotel and shopping district. Sensual decor, cocktails, appetizers, dessert, and the most eclectic entertainment around, make Lannie's the coolest room in town.
