As always, we look forward to next year's Spring Fling and all of the fun and fellowship it will bring.

SongShine Evansville is Unlocking Speech with Song
New Class Begins on June 5
Losing the ability to speak and communicate clearly can be devastating. But for voices affected by Parkinson’s, stroke, other neurological disorders, or simply aging, singing can bring energy and life back to speech. Strengthening speaking voices is the mission of SongShine Foundation. SongShine Evansville presents a music-based voice therapy program using classing singing exercises (Vocalises), relaxation, physical awareness and breath, diction and articulation, creative imagination, emotional engagement, rhythmic movement, and group singing to enhance speech. SongShine’s emphasis on singing also helps lift spirits, touch hearts, release memories, and creates camaraderie as participants sing their way to stronger speech. SongShine helps you gain vocal strength through the power of music. And it is FUN! Check out SongShine Evansville on Facebook.

Our next class will meet weekly on Tuesdays, June 5 through August 14, 2018. The class meets from 1:30 -2:30 pm (1 st week only come at 1:00 for registration). Classes are held at Aldersgate. Classes are FREE, but a $10 registration fee is required. Call (812) 598-8332 or pre-register online at WWW.SongShineforParkinsons.org . Classes are taught by Certified SongShine Instructors. My classes incorporate yoga poses to balance the body, as well as breathing and medication. I also teach private lessons for students interested in beginning a personal yoga practice, and I am licensed massage therapist practicing in Evansville. I look forward to working with you and with you great joy in yoga and life. You can find me and my yoga videos, recordings, and writing online. Please visit these sites and enjoy the free resources I’ve created or contact me ( Zoe Sipes, experienced Yoga Teacher, Massage Therapist) at 812-250-9642 if you have questions.
