A few weeks ago, America celebrated the 50th Anniversary of "
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". We remember it so well...Snoopy taking his first flight as a World War I ace. Charlie Brown being ridiculed as rocks pile up in his Halloween bag. And Linus taking up his vigil at his patch as he awaits the mighty Great Pumpkin
"Great Pumpkin" debuted nearly a year after the first animated "Peanuts" special - "A Charlie Brown Christmas" - and shocked network executives by winning the night and winning over a nation.
Many viewers might not know that in 1966, after "Great Pumpkin" first aired, fans felt sorry for Charlie Brown and his bag of Halloween rocks - so sorry that they sent sweet treats to Schulz's Northern California studio, in care of the beloved character. Producer Mendelson, said that this viewer reaction continued for many years.

"I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag..."
One of the most significant presidential elections in our nation's history is just around the corner. Passions run deep throughout the country and the lines of opposing political and
social view are drawn in ideological cement. Best friends and family members have been estranged, hopefully only temporarily, as November 8th draws near.
It is our hope at Global Neuro and Spine Institute that we will all reflect on this truth: although diverse in opinions and perspective, we are citizens of ONE nation...still the greatest nation on earth! We are a patchwork quilt; we are the variegated colors of a New England autumn; we stand
together as "Old Glory" shows above. How utterly boring if we were all cookie cutter clones of each other! We are a typical family that may fight like cats and dogs among ourselves...but link arms and stands fiercely united against outside foes. May we truly be "ONE NATION, UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!"
