We are pleased to announce the latest recipients of training grants through our Youth Theatre Training Program (YTTP). We thank all those who applied to the program.
Over $72,300 was requested during this application round. $21,875 was awarded in total to seven recipients.

PTTP and YTTP are funded by the Ontario Arts Council, an agency of the Government of Ontario.

Don't forget that the early-bird deadline for Theatre Ontario Festival 2016 ticket packages is January 31.
Festival 2016 runs from May 18 to 22 in North Bay, and is co-hosted by Theatre Ontario, Gateway Theatre Guild, and QUONTA.

Theatre for Literacy is a program formed by two organisations, Frontier College’s ‘Beat the Street’ program and Theatre Ontario’s outreach program. Their aim is to provide a course that empowers students with drama techniques that develop their communication and literacy skills.

Introducing The Play Map of Canada
|
Playwrights Guild of Canada (PGC) is proud to announce the launch of the Play Map of Canada - a map of Canadian plays - on January 11th. An updated map will be released monthly and will include Professional and Community Theatre productions
Along with the Map launch, PGC in partnership with Theatre Ontario will be hosting a Twitter Chat on January 11th, 2016 from 12-2pm.
