RSVP for Next Generation Showcase
Next Generation Showcase is coming up on January 15 and 16 at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto. We warmly invite Directors, Artistic Directors, Producers, Casting Directors, Agents (EIC signed or TAMAC members), and other Industry Professionals to join us for our annual showcase of graduating student talent.

We are seeking volunteers to assist with the 2017 Next Generation Showcase, helping w ith backstage coordination and ushering to ensure a smooth event.
Festival
Tickets Now On Sale!
Tickets and accommodations are now available for Theatre Ontario Festival 2017 in Ottawa. Opening May 17, and running until May 21, our annual Festival is a celebration of community theatre featuring performances and workshops, and bringing together theatre lovers from across the province. Early-bird passes at a discounted rate are available until January 31.

Youth Theatre Training Program Grant Recipients for Fall 2016
We are excited to announce the latest recipients of training grants through Theatre Ontario’s Youth Theatre Training Program (YTTP). We thank all those who applied to the program.  $20,700 was awarded in total among five recipients.

Do you need financial support for professional development or a "change of direction" in your career?

We are now inviting applications for the March 1, 2017 deadline for our Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP).

PTTP offers financial support for unique and flexible training with a chosen mentor in any theatrical discipline (except performance.) You can apply for professional development in your own discipline, or a "change of direction" in a career.

Our Youth Theatre Training Program (YTTP) offers financial support to programs that deliver accessible training to young people (age 14 to 21), led by professional artists.

Michael Spence Award
Celebrating Legendary Commitment to Community Theatre
This is the final reminder that nominations for our Michael Spence Award for Contribution to Community Theatre are due on January 31.

Our Michael Spence Award recognizes outstanding contribution, generosity of spirit, involvement, and legendary commitment to community theatre in a region. The award is presented annually within the region that is hosting the Theatre Ontario Festival.  In 2017, the award will be presented to someone in the Eastern Ontario region of Ontario community theatre.

In this weekend intensive, we will examine the Stage Management process from the pre-production period through to the end of show responsibilities. An overview of specific stage management fundamentals such as creating paperwork, building a prompt book, and taking blocking notation will be provided.
